چکیده
Aims: We investigate a new method to for obtaining the plasma parameters of solar prominences observed in Mgii h&k spectral lines by comparing line profiles from IRIS satellite bank computed with one-dimensional non-local thermodynamic equilibrium (non-LTE) radiative transfer code. Methods: Using grid 1007 non-LTE models we carry out this match spectra while accounting core shifts not present models. The prominence observations were carried on 19 April 2018. Results: is very dynamic many flows. are able recover satisfactory matches areas where single observed. recover: mean temperatures 6000 50,000K; pressures 0.01 0.5 dyne cm$^{-2}$; column masses 3.7$\times10^{-8}$ 5$\times10^{-4}$ g electron density 7.3$\times10^{8}$ 1.8$\times10^{11}$ cm$^{-3}$; and an ionisation degree ${n_\text{HII}}/{n_\text{HI}}=0.03 - 4500$. highest values found sight crosses mostly PCTR, correlating high correspondingly no H$\alpha$ emission. Conclusions: This naturally returns information how closely match, allowing user identify between can be obtained. Regions fits more likely contain model encompassing PCTR. shift also recovered method, it shows good qualitative that quantile method. demonstrates effectiveness approach

3d Non-lte Line Formation in the Solar Photosphere and the Solar Oxygen Abundance
We study the formation of O i and OH spectral lines in three-dimensional hydrodynamic models of the solar photosphere. The line source function of the O i 777 nm triplet is allowed to depart from local ther-modynamic equilibrium (lte), within the two-level-atom approximation. Comparison with results from 1D models show that the 3D models alleviate, but do not remove, the discrepancy between the...
متن کاملRevisited abundance diagnostics in quasars : Fe II / Mg II ratios
Both the Fe II UV emission in the 2000−3000 Å region (Fe II(UV)) and resonance emission line complex of Mg II at 2800 Å are prominent features in quasar spectra. The observed Fe II(UV)/Mg II emission ratios have been proposed as means to measure the buildup of the Fe abundance relative to that of the α-elements C, N, O, Ne and Mg as a function of redshift. The current observed ratios show large...
متن کاملModelling of Nebular Line Profiles
RESUMEN El resumen será traducido al español por los editores. We present a tool, VELNEB 3D, which can be applied to the results of 3D photoionization codes to generate emission line profiles, position-velocity maps and 3D maps in any emission line by assuming an arbitrary velocity field. We give a few examples, based on our pseudo-3D photoionization code NEBU 3D (Morisset, Stasi´nska & Peña 20...
متن کامل2D non-LTE radiative modelling of He I spectral lines formed in solar prominences
Context. The diagnosis of new high-resolution spectropolarimetric observations of solar prominences made in the visible and nearinfrared mainly, requires a radiative modelling taking into account for both multi-dimensional geometry and complex atomic models. Aims. Hereafter we contribute to the improvement of the diagnosis based on the observation of He i multiplets, by considering 2D non-LTE u...
متن کامل0 Interpreting the Mg II h and k Line Profiles of Mira Variables
We use radiative transfer calculations to reproduce the basic appearance of Mg II lines observed from Mira variables. These lines have centroids that are blueshifted by at least 30 km s −1 from the stellar rest frame. It is unlikely that flow velocities in the stellar atmospheres are this fast, so radiative transfer effects must be responsible for this behavior. Published hydrodynamic models pr...
